Food, fun, baptisms. Have lots happening in the month of September, the Hebrew month Elul, the month when The King is in the Field! It's the month when the Feasts of the Lord begin, this year is, 5787.  Beginning September 11th @ 6:00 PM the New Hebrew Year 5787 will begin, and ends on Sunday, September 13th @ 6:00 PM, this is the Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah. To celebrate this Feast we will be having a Church Family Day with a baptism and church picnic together. We will have our picnic at Mill Creek Nature Park in Narrows, VA at 1:30 PM. We will them move to Wolf Creek at the Narrows Park for the baptism. You are welcome to join us as we are all family in the body of Christ. As for members of God's House please invite family and friends to join us.

On September 21st @ 6:00 PM until September 22nd @ 6:00 PM, we will fast and prayer on Yom Kippur, the holiest feast day of the year. The LORD GOD declared it to be a day of atonement. Leviticus 16:29 This shall be statue forever for you: In the seventh month (God's calendar begins at Passover, March-April), on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether a native of your own country or a stranger (Gentile) who dwells among you. 30. For on that day the priest shall make atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord. This my friend is what Jesus did for us when He became our atonement and to honor His great sacifice we will afflict our souls on the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. If you have never celebrated this Feast of the Lord, take this day to begin. If you don't understand it, take the time to read about the Feasts of Lord in the Torah portions of you Bible. The LORD GOD, Yahweh, declared, These are My Feasts.

On September 25th @ 6:00 PM, we will begin the celebration of The Feast of Tabernacles, a seven day celebration of GOD's goodness and blessings, ending on Shabbat, October 3rd @ 6:00 PM. We will be having services and fellowship starting Friday night at 6:00 PM through the weekend and even times during this week of celebration. More details to come as we get closer to the feast.  It's a time to enter into thankfulness and joy for the past year's blessings and the celebration of joy for what the LORD has prepared for the New Year ahead. This is also a jubliee year as it ends in 7. Every seventh year was a jubliee year to start afresh in life and dedication to the LORD in thankfulness and faith for His plans and purposes for the next seven years.
